Where the impressive Salad & Sandwich Bar stall is located within the old fish market, you are still able to view parts of the orginal stall that used to be M & E Sheehan's, which started trading in early 1906....
Most people know we should be eating more fruit and vegetables, at least five portions per day, but in a fast paced world full of processed acidic food and drin, this can be a real challenge......
Coffee Central is a well known meeting point within the market. Although the shop now offers quality coffee and tea, it used to sell pork and bacon for many years. Coffee Central first opened in the early part of 2001 and still has many of the traders from within the market as well as many of the customers who use it.
Their coffee and chocolate are also available to buy in bulk.
Open from early morning till the market closes.
Jennifer Mc Auliffe is a graduate of the Crawford College of Art Cork. She studied painting and life drawing during her time there. Jennifer's paintings are contemporary abstract representations of well known and less well known buildings around Cork City.
